The surgery required to correct nipple inversion is performed under general anesthesia, is combined with a breast augmentation <strong>Inverted Nipple Surgery<\/strong> consists in a small incision is made in the areola in order to cut the short lactiferous channels at the base of the areola that prevent the normal projection or erection of the nipple. The drawback to this surgical intervention is that the patient will not be able to nurse.
