to California where he worked with highly reputed plastic surgeons.
Dr. Bruce F. Connell, among other prominent surgeons, was a role
model for him. From his prolonged stay in California, an environment
rich in new knowledge, Dr Bernier brought back the expertise that
enabled him to become a master in the fine art of aesthetic surgery.
After his return to Canada, Dr Bernier
dedicated himself wholly to aesthetic surgery. His professionalism

he obtained from the Collège
des médecins du Québec (C.S.P.Q.), the Royal College of
