Pectoral implant surgery...

Enlarging the male torso

For some men, even intense and rigorous muscular activity does not adequately develop pectoral muscles. Individuals with this problem now have a solution through pectoral implant surgery. In this surgery, pre-formed solid silicone implants are placed under major pectoral muscles to enhance the appearance of chest muscles.

the importance of expertise

Pectoral implant surgery is carried out under general anaesthesia. The incisions required to insert the pectoral implants are located in the axilla (the armpits) and measure approximately 5 cm. The implant is inserted under the pectoralis major (large pectoral muscle).

Once the incision is completed, the cavity is prepared and the insertion is done with the endoscope. The muscle is not detached from the ribcage or the sternum as is the case for breast implants in women.

Advantages of the endoscopic technique:

  • Reduces the risk of excessive bleeding.
  • 5 cm scar under the armpit hardly visible, if at all.
  • No scar on the thorax.
  • Quick return to normal activities.
  • Reduces the risk of diminished sensation in the nipple or increased visibility of nerves.

This type of surgery requires a convalescence period of approximately two weeks.
