INVERTED NIPPLES

The surgery required to correct nipple inversion is performed under local anaesthesia. A small incision is made in the nipple in order to cut the short lactiferous channels that prevent the normal projection or erection of the nipple. The drawback to this surgical intervention is that the patient will not be able to nurse.
